The Opportunity

This is a unique Specialist Community Palliative Care role for a Medical Officer to join an organisation that makes a real difference within the diverse West Auckland communities.

If you thrive on complexity, diversity and love working with a dynamic team of multidisciplinary Health and Social Care professionals this may be the role for you. You can enjoy putting your ideas into action and can further explore ways to add improvement in service delivery to the people we serve.

You will be a part of the wider team that thrives on delivering home consultations, patients' clinics, online telehealth and palliative providers support and presentations.

You Will Bring

Energy, drive and passion to see Community Palliative Care delivered directly into the West Auckland communities. You'll be keen to develop as a professional in palliative care to further your three years post qualification experience that may be in General Medicine, Health of Older People, Oncology or Primary Care.

You will hold a Current New Zealand Practicing Certificate from Medical Council of New Zealand.

As a curious individual, you will enjoy improving services and are open to exploring innovative ways that drive the best outcomes for our people and communities.
